3 NEW PARISH COUNCILLORS ARE REQUIRED
Rather than send out the press gangs we are looking to fill the vacancies voluntarily.
If you would like to give something back to the community this can be the ideal
way of doing it. One meeting a month on average.
Please contact the Parish Clerk or any member of the Council if you are willing
to be co-opted. If you would just like to know more about how the Council operates
before making a decision, go to the website for the National Association of
Local Councils www.nalc.gov.uk and click on the publications tab where you will
find the ‘Good Councillors Guide’ . This excellent little handbook
will give you some idea of what is involved.
