The Bell Inn is situated in the heart of East Anglia, just off the A143, approximately 7 miles south west of Diss and 14 miles north east of Bury St Edmunds. It is located in a peaceful village setting, overlooking the surrounding countryside.

This delightful 17th Century Coaching Inn once had extensive stabling to provide fresh draught horses for travellers. Whites Directory of Suffolk (1844) states "Coaches pass eight times a day to Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and London".
